Outdoor design furniture, home accessories with a pop of color, or iconic lamps? The long list easily gives a hint of what the HAY brand has in store for this spring. Feel free to have a read!

Ceramic tables

That pastel shades are no taboo for outdoor furniture is proven by the new Ceramic table collection from none other than Muller van Severen. The designer duo’s portfolio is renowned for its sophisticated work with colour, material and proportions, and the next piece from their fruitful collaboration with the HAY brand is no different.

Thanks to its high gloss, the porcelain of the Ceramic tabletops allows mint, yellow, burgundy or warm white colours to shine through. Thanks to the clean rounded top on the subtle white leg, the shades do not give a heavy or distinctly different impression. The concrete base takes care of both firmly anchoring the table and connecting it to the ground, whatever it may be. The result is a well-proportioned, interesting and pleasant table that is a joy to move around thanks to its single leg. The tables will be nicely complemented by chairs from the Hee and Balcony collections or another new product, which we will introduce shortly.

Type Chair

The HAY brand pairs the Ceramic tables with another novelty in the portfolio – the Type chair. If it looks familiar to you, then the design has fulfilled the author’s intention. Designer Jonas Trampedach wanted to create a chair that would evoke friendliness and familiarity with its archetypal concept, while being unexpected with the material used – aluminium.

Novelties for an even more colourful interior

Ana Kraš Collection

Frames don’t just have to decorate your walls, but also your sofa or dining table. Designer Ana Kraš has played with colour contrasts, framing one with the other. Combined with the soft curves of the Ram cushions, an extra contrast is created. A very simple element thus becomes visually powerful while still remaining timeless. The Ram placemats in the same colours then beautifully connect the living and dining area.

The art of dining

HAY’s list of new products from the dining category naturally encourages the involvement of the artistic side in everyday dining. The aforementioned Ram placemats by Ana Kraš serve as a base, framing the tableware and cutlery beautifully: you can choose from the matching colours of MVS cutlery by Muller van Severen and Barro tableware in traditional Portuguese shapes and unusual colours. The cutlery with minimalist curves uses a flat handle to accentuate three interesting tones that contrast with the colourful placemats. From the entire palette, you can thus create a table setting to suit exactly your style; the distinctive geometric qualities of all the pieces will always make for an unusual combination.

Nelson Bubble

Fans of the classic design of Nelson Bubble lamps will be more than delighted with the announcement of two new designs to complement the extensive collection. In particular, the Angled Sphere and Roll shapes. The former offers a more structured alternative to the perfectly rounded Bubble models. Roll, on the other hand, stands exactly in the middle between rounded and angular shapes. The effect is almost puristically simple and sophisticated.

If you’re as excited as we are, we won’t hold you back from browsing the new designs, which you’ll find all together with a filter on the HAY brand in the news section
