When it comes to bathroom design, one of the latest trends is colour!  Although I am embracing colour a bit more than before. The colours found in nature are still my favourite. Italian leading company in sanitary-ware Ceramica Catalano recently launched the ‘Tonalità Collection‘ which takes inspiration from colours found in nature. From beige to crisp whites, and from serene jade green to bold blacks, definitely colours that can bring a sense of peace and simplicity to any space.

The design of the sanitary is  characterized by clean lines and elegant shapes. Not only do they look great, but they’re also incredibly easy to use thanks to their ergonomic design.

Eight satin shades in harmony with nature

Crafted from ceramic, these fixtures boast fluid shapes and intricate details, adding a touch of sophistication to your bathroom. What’s more, the Tonalità collection is incredibly versatile, allowing you to mix and match with other materials like wood, stone, and metal. This means you can create a bathroom that’s totally unique to you, reflecting your individual taste and style, whether you prefer a classic, modern, or minimalist vibe.

Discover the eight different shades of the ‘Tonalità Collection’  in today’s article. And meet the brand during Architects@work in Brussel!

Lino

Lino

The refined alternative to white and one of my personal favourite colours. Lino calls up memories of comfortable and natural environments. This subtle colour is a neutral canvas and perfect to create a harmonious and balanced bathroom which will work both at our own homes, as well as in a hospitality setting. Combining it together with coverings, accessories and fixtures in wood, marble or natural stone, enhances the whiteness and its sophisticated simplicity.

Cemento

Cemento

Cemento, a versatile color choice. Its compact and minimalist appeal sets the stage for a contemporary bathroom design. Its glazed finishing adds both visual and tactile texture to the space, creating a sense of depth that’s as captivating as it is functional. As a neutral backdrop, Cemento allows other colors and furnishings to shine, enabling you to personalize your bathroom to perfection.

Pair Cemento with materials like steel, glass, or wood, and you’ll achieve a bathroom that’s nothing short of striking. Whether you’re aiming for a sleek, industrial vibe or a warm, inviting atmosphere, Cemento is the perfect canvas for your design dreams to come to life.

Seta

Seta

Another of my favourite colours  is ‘Seta’ a currently trending colour that adds a  modern sophisticated touch to contemporary bathrooms and our homes. It creates a light and harmonious soothing atmosphere. The tone is characterized by its intrinsic luminosity which makes spaces seem wider and more open.

Its coloration enhances the tactile and material effect that only glazed ceramics can give. In addition, Seta’s neutral tone allows for great creative freedom in combining with other items that make up the bathroom setting.

Sabbia

Sabbia

Picture a space bathed in natural light, exuding warmth and tranquility. This is where Sabbia, with its soothing tone, truly shines. Perfect for environments seeking to maximize the beauty of daylight, Sabbia effortlessly infuses a sense of calm and comfort.

Its neutral essence means that it is extremely versatile and it goes well with a wide range of colors, both warmer and cooler, while being suited to a variety of styles and designs.Sabbia is associated with natural materials like wood, stone, and rattan that bring out its organic side as well as feelings of being connected with nature. A color that is ageless which makes it an excellent choice for projects of timeless interior design.

Tortora

Tortora

A warm tone, Tortora provides an opportunity to create interesting contrasts with other bathroom components or enliven tone-on-tone chromatic palettes for refined and timeless solutions.

Grey but slightly warmed by a hint of pink, Tortora transmits feelings of relaxation and tranquility and is
ideal for intimate spaces like a bathroom. Tortora can also enhance the character of a room because of its
ability to reflect light in a particular way. Its versatility make it suitable for many styles and preferences.

Nero

Nero

Having some black fixtures in my own kitchen, I can fully agree on the strong and sophisticated look black can add. Daring, elegant, refined. A deep color Nero may be used in a variety of styles, from the classic to the contemporary, without losing its visualforce. A tone that gives the bathroom a strong and sophisticated look for intense, minimalist atmospheres where design is reduced to the bare essentials revealing all its simple power and purity.

Nero

Bianco

Bianco

We have all had some white in our bathrooms, as it traditionally is the first choice of interior design for sanitary ware. Bianco with a satin finish radiates essentiality and purity. Surprisingly versatile, its hue shifts subtly depending on the light, adding depth to any space. Bianco serves as an elegant, versatile staple, effortlessly complementing various styles while brightening both large and small settings.

Bianco

Acqua

Acqua

Acqua is a color of remarkable depth and complexity, defying categorization as simply green or grey. Its subtle interplay of cool tones infuses bathrooms with a sense of freshness and sophistication. This captivating hue strikes the perfect balance between the natural tranquility of green and the refined neutrality of grey, resulting in bathrooms that exude contemporary elegance.

With its unique tonal saturation, Acqua imparts a distinctive character to any space, elevating it to new levels of style and sophistication
