Athena’s move to a new Art-Deco apartment in Tribeca, which she is currently renovating with Danish architect Danielle Siggerud , inspired her fresh perspectives for her second collaboration with Crate & Barrel. Presenting their new collaboration Crate & Barrel says: “Our collaboration with interior designer and bestselling author Athena Calderone brings you a collection of pieces that honor refined and elegant forms. Inspired by the timeless shapes and palettes of the 1930s, Crate x Athena fine-tunes scale, elevated materials and comfort to fit seamlessly into your home. Athena was inspired by architect Eliel Saarinen when designing this collection, so it was only fitting to capture it at Saarinen House, his Art Deco masterwork at Cranbrook Academy of Art.”
A previous collection I showed you here on the blog two years ago: Athena Calderone collection for Crate & Barrel For this blogpost I selected some pieces of this second collaboration of Athena with Crate & Barrel, follow the links under each photo to learn more and see more products within the collection.
