Studio Brent Lee is an Interior Architecture & Design studio based in Sydney, with an expanding presence in Los Angeles and an upcoming office in Paris. Their work is deeply influenced by centuries-old architecture, art, and design, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens to suit modern living.

This refined philosophy blends the romance of historical craftsmanship with the sophistication of today’s interior design. Initially focused on single-residential projects, Studio Brent Lee has grown to include multi-residential and hospitality design, offering a full range of services from concept to project management.

Belvedere Apartments

Jacques Harrison, a young property development firm from Paris offered Studio Brent Lee the opportunity to design ‘Belvedere’. A substantial renovation and development of an existing 18th-century building by Jacques Harrison in the 7th Arrondissement of Paris. Belvedere is currently in the concept design stage of the individual apartments with a restaurant and bar.

Belvedere Apartments consists of different apartments and penthouses. Each apartment has a different interior tailored specifically for their individual layouts. Making every apartment a unique residence with  bespoke kitchens, bathrooms, powder rooms, and bedrooms.

Inspiration

Studio Brent Lee has drawn inspiration from a variety of styles across a broad timeline of art history, including the scale and grandeur of classic Roman architecture, the subtlety and restraint of mid-to-late 18th-century French Neoclassical design, and the holistic sensitivity of Belgian minimalist philosophy.

As a result we see lime-washed decorative plaster, ornamental plaster ceilings, cornices and architraves paired with light oak herringbone floors, dark oak joinery and natural limestone. I totally love the contrasting dark oak kitchen cabinets, while in other apartments we see soft white oak cabinets complement the curving sculptures of the building. With soft linen curtains and sofas elegantly and relaxed, luxe sitting areas are created.
