Large florals and leafy greens adorn the ceiling and trail delicately down part of the walls in this historic apartment, while large built-ins provide more than ample room for books, small statues, and other decorative objects. The light taupe base color on the walls adds an earthy vibe to the space. An antique dining table pairs beautifully with cane chairs to create a mixture of old world charm and global-inspired style.
In the dining room, a mid-century-modern-inspired chandelier hangs above the table, featuring white glass globes that give it a whimsical appeal. Green plants contribute to the earthy, laid-back feeling in this space, while large windows flood the room with natural light. The person living here also chose to make this a convenient coffee bar that neatly tucks away out of view when not in use.
