Back home after a short trip to Italy with Agape bathrooms and a few days in Sardinia, I am relaxing a bit at home and preparing my home for fall season. I also started a ‘kitchen makeover’ by painting the ceilings in a softer colour and finally finishing the lighting with spots by J.Adams & Co. Next I will paint some more in darker colours, add new window coverings and fabrics. Fall screams for warmer colours, new fabrics, candles and scents!

For Artist of Note, three British creatives were asked to reimagine three of the iconic fragrances through their vision and medium, expressing their dedication to creativity, craftsmanship and the human connection between perfumer and wearer. Their interpretations bring to life the unique feel and deeper meaning of the fragrances, revealing the power of scent and the personal nature of each fragrance experience.
Coastal Cypress & Sea Fennel
I selected a few items and the fragrance of the candle is just amazing! I choose the Coastal Cypress & Sea Fennel with notes of Cardamom Bergamot, Marine notes. Cypress, what seemed like the ideal candle and perfume for this time of the year, when we still have Summer on our mind and fall just around the corner. Created by self-proclaimed punk poet Dr. John Cooper Clarke he translated fresh, marine scents of Coastal Cypress & Sea Fennel into an evocative poem.
