No need to say I really enjoyed this years Maison et Objet and my visit to Paris. It was my second time visiting in January and I must say I also really love this edition. Normally I visited in September when the fair coincides with Paris Design week. In January it is time for Deco off and many designers, fabric and wallpaper stores open their doors to buyers. But there is also a lot to see for the curious visitor like myself.
I already showed you the amazing Pierre Augustin Rose One of the stores that is still on my mind in several ways. There were also a few galeries I visited, I either discovered on Instagram or just passed by. They were all different but had in common I was attracted by the different colours, large or bulky sofas and beautiful smaller details. Thought I show you some images and maybe you love to visit these galleries next time in Paris.
Galerie Desprez Breheret
This gallery I discovered on Instagram some time ago and it was so nice to visit and meet the owners, Helene and Benjamin. A truly new favorite to add to my Paris travel list! more info about Galerie Desprez Beheret

Maxime Flatry
If you are Dutch, you might have met Galerie Maxime Flatry at Tefaf in Maastricht, one of the most prestigious art fairs in the world. At their Parisian gallerie you will find changing exhibitions of 20th century art and design.
Theoreme Editions
Theoreme Editions at Palais Royal, where I was on my way to Rick Owens. Caught my eye of the Sistema modular sofa by Pool Studio. Theoreme Editions is a French maison d’édition that collaborates with contemporary designers and the finest European craftsmen to create poetic works of furniture and objects. Although the team was rearranging furniture I had the change to snap a few images. Definitely loved this galerie.
